WASTE HOLDING TANK |
On a dump through tank, were the toilet sits on the tank itself. We place a extra 9mm section of plastic to help renforce the top of the tank. Therefore give the overall thickness were the toilet is positioned to 15mm thick.
We use two types of welding on a water tank, hot air and extrusion welding. All thanks come complete with BSP threaded fittings ranging from 1/2" BSP to 1 1/2" BSP (larger are available). These are welded into the tank in any position that you require, also supplied are the relivent size hose tails. Stright or 90 Deg.
The standard fitting sizes for a waste holding tank is:
Breather, inlet and pump-out are 1 1/2" BSP. Rinse 3/4" BSP. On the pump-out fitting we butt-weld a dip pipe going to 3/4" off the bottom of the tank.
All tanks are baffled to stop the surge of waste during movement. We also fix the lid (Top) of the tank to the baffle on the inside, by our unique fixing system.
Our tanks are all cut by our in house CNC Machine, this gives us the ease of making sure that all sections of your tank are cut to a tolerence of 0.04mm.
Optional extras are:
- Inspection Hatch
- Electronic Level Gauge
Remember, for every cubic ft = 6.25 Gallon, 1 Gallon = 10 lbs (4.5 Kilos)
To work out the volume of a tank: In Inches
Length X Width X Height = ?, Divide ? by 1728, this will give you the volume in cubic ft, multiply this figure by 6.25 = Volume in gallons
